The rain has finally stopped and the weather is nice. Tomorrow afternoon I will give the garden one last tilling and pull out more weeds and grass. We bought a couple hundred feet of soaker hoses that we will lay after we walk out the rows, and then it's seeding time. We're starting with corn, beans, radishes, cukes, assorted squash, and some watermelon and cantaloupe. We need to buy tomatoes and peppers to transplant. Luci's planting some bottleneck gourds around the perimeter of the fencing, and we may have room for a few feet of sunflowers for the kids.
The spinach and basil are already coming up in the containers on the porch. I can already taste the pesto.
